Results vary from person to person, but many clients feel a sense of comfort and relief after the very first session—simply knowing they have someone guiding them and that they don’t have to navigate the journey alone. With continued support, consistent effort, and the right mindset, positive changes often follow within a few sessions, and progress toward your goals becomes clearer and more attainable.

Traditional Model:
  • Service options are limited.
  • Flexibility in support is limited to the regional center approved vendor list.
  • Regional Center pays providers.

SDP Model:
  • You can choose your providers and they don't have to be an approved regional center vendor. Supports are flexible and personalized.
  • Financial Management Services (FMS) pays the providers—you simply review and approve invoices.
  • You remain in control of the decisions and how your funding is allocated.
  • If you’re not already in the Self-Determination Program (SDP), it’s highly recommended to consider transitioning. SDP opens the door to many more possibilities and greater flexibility.
