  • Individual Parent Support Program

    PARENT SUPPORT STRATEGY MEETING + SUPPORT PLAN

    Ideal for parents new to autism, Our One-on-One Consultation and Action Plan is designed for parents who have recently received their child’s autism diagnosis from the regional center. This option includes a personalized session and a customized Pathway of Support Action Plan, helping parents feel supported from day one. Tailored for those not yet ready to attend group workshops, this service provides individual guidance, training and actionable steps to navigate the first year with confidence and clarity.

    + Caregiver Welcome Toolkit

    + Follow-Up Meeting: Support & Care Plam

  • Parent Support Workshop - Starting 2025!

    5 WEEK WORKSHOP SERIES & 2 INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS

    Ideal for parents new to autism, our program begins with an individual welcome session and provides comprehensive parent support throughout the first year. You'll participate in a bi-weekly Zoom workshop series, followed by an individual strategy session to reinforce what you've learned. The program concludes with an in-person community graduation dinner, celebrating your progress and connections made along the way.

1. Contact your service coordinator today to receive parent support.

To request our services, please provide the following information to your regional service coordinator.

  • Service Provider: The Autism Guide (PY3549)

  • Service Code: 102

  • Individual or Family Training: This service plays a significant role in helping parents support their child’s Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individual Program Plan (IPP) by equipping them with the tools, strategies & knowledge to be effective advocates and partners in their child’s development

With access to a wealth of autism-focused resources and tailored programs, we provide a clear, supportive pathway to guide you every step of the way.

This program is not a traditional service offered by the Regional Center; however, families can include it as part of their Self-Determination Program budget for Individual or Family Training.
